Electrosonics guarantees for 30 days the labor we perform to fix your PC hardware / Network / Printer / Modem / Video or Operating System configuration. This exclusive 30 day labor warranty protects you from further labor expenses should the same specific problem recur on your system.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Electrosonics, Inc. of all problems that are being experienced.

We attempt to duplicate the specific problem (s) identified by the customer prior to working a repair so we have a clear understanding of the problem.

 

Exclusions:

Problems not identified by the customer at time of original service write up. Example: customer has problem with PC / Printer saying he has only printing problems. Electrosonics, Inc. fixes the printing problem. Later customer has a video problem. The video problem is a separate issue and not covered under the 30-day labor guarantee.

Items outside of optional Problem Discovery Services performed by Electrosonics, Inc. technicians.

Where customer is informed of additional problems but refuses repairs to the discovered items.

Where customer or others have modified hardware, software, operating system configurations or files related to the original problem outside of Electrosonics, Inc. technical staff after our repairs are performed.

 

Remedy:

Within 30 days of repair, should our repairs not fix the same specific problem (s) you identified, we will provide labor services at no charge to you to fix the problem. These remedy services are only provided at same location of original service. Note that this 30 day labor guarantee covers labor only. Should your problem require hardware replacements, the cost of the replacement hardware is not covered under the labor warranty. No cash refunds for labor services.

 

Problem Discovery Services

Electrosonics, Inc. can provide Problem Discovery Services for your computers, printers, networks, modems, and Internet. Discovery services are labor intensive and billed by the hour (1-hour minimum). Problem Discovery Services can range by the depth or length of time you specify. Standard rates apply based on the level of service provided.

 

Optional New Hardware Maintenance Service

We offer you an exclusive arrangement whereby we perform all system repairs on-site for 20% of the component or system cost per year. (Minimum contract investment $200.00). Discounts are available based on quantity of products and manufacturer.

We handle all technical interface issues with the product manufacturers, including telephone calls to manufacturers, hardware patch / driver download – install – testing.

We will place a hardware-troubleshooting technician on-site to inspect & duplicate the error. Electrosonics, Inc. technicians will then formulate a response / plan of action and begin a problem solution implementation process.

This hardware maintenance specifically excludes all tape drives and tape back-up software, automated backup devices and scripting. Actual technical services performed are billed for tape drive or data back-up or disaster recovery services.

 

Product Returns / Refunds

After 10 days, no cash refunds for any products returned -- product exchange or store credit only. After 30 days, no product returns period. No cash refunds for services provided.

 

Standard Manufacturers Warranties and Warranty Process

Warranties offered by the manufacturers of products have differences between them as each manufacturer has their own way of handling warranties. Electrosonics, Inc. provides you a FREE 30-day exchange warranty for components, monitors and most all PC products.

Beyond our 30-day exchange warranty, the warranty policies and procedures of the particular manufacturer must be followed. This means that should the product prove defective during the manufacturer warranty, the warranty policies and procedures for that specific manufacturer are in effect.

After 30 days, you are responsible to deal with the manufacturer warranty.

As an alternative, to save you time, Electrosonics, Inc., can handle the hardware warranty processing for you for a small processing and shipping fee.

Should Electrosonics, Inc. handle the warranty processing for you, there is a $10 document processing charge, plus standard shipping charges to ship the defective product to the manufacturer. This covers all the phone calls, RMA authorizations, product packaging and shipping expenses.

 

Product Loaners during repairs or warranty repairs

Should a customer desire a loaner product, in lieu of an item being repaired or sent in for warranty repairs, standard daily rental charges (minimum 2 weeks), plus security deposits apply. See your Business Solutions Consultant for details. The manufacturer warranty does not include a free loaner provision.
