How Sold and Distributed: Electrosonics sells, consults, and integrates direct to local users for Internet, Networks, PC hardware and pre-packaged software, Windows NT, Unix, Xenix and NOVELL. Electrosonics sells our own produced software through PC magazines and Dealers around the world.
The Competition: Competition for PC's has evolved from small discounters to large warehouse discounters so Electrosonics has differentiated its approach to more technical services, thus retaining existing customers while winning over new customers who have had bad support experiences from other vendors. Electrosonics offers complete solutions and services from operating system, application software to integration to the workplace to hardware service. Other companies can only put price stickers on the box and know nothing on how to integrate into the workplace. We anticipate further growth in the number of our customer base and the volume of orders based on our knowledge of computers and solutions.
The provision of computer technical services has evolved to accommodate the numerous uses of the PC. From network integration to PC repair and troubleshooting. Most volume discount vendors are unable to adequately service many of the simple repair or simple technical support needs -- let alone the complex needs that computer users encounter in day to day business operations.
Locally as well as nationwide, there are a limited number of providers for computer technical services. The necessity of computer wisdom coupled with knowledge and the ability to comprehend the complexity of the hardware, operating systems and connectivity issues are not quickly learned. The limited number of computer companies involved in the provision of technical services is limited to the availability of skilled individuals. Electrosonics expects this shortage of "experts" to continue for the foreseeable future.|
