From time to time, when making decisions about your networking needs, your management may want to have additional input. Electrosonics can schedule your monthly Administration visit to coincide with management consulting. This allows you to draw on our knowledge to help guide you to make the right decision.

Network Problems

Computer networks are necessary to have in business today. However, networks have become administrative nightmares, staff time wasters, and it can be costly to hire a permanent administrator.

To help reduce cost of system administration, avoid unpleasant surprises and help keep your network running smoothly, get the Electrosonics Monthly Computer Network Administrative Plan at your company. We come to you once per month to perform administrative functions for your computer network.

10-point Network Administrative Checklist Includes

1. Checking error logs and alerting management of possible causes and corrective actions
2. Adding, changing, deleting user names, passwords and permissions to the server
3. Installing the latest software patch levels for your server operating system
4. Checking tape back-up logs and alerting management of errors or missed days
5. Installing the latest software patch levels for your tape back-up system
6. Checking stations for lost clusters of data on hard disk drives and possible corruption of files
7. Virus scan of server using the latest virus definitions
8. Installing new printer drivers to the server operating system
9. Adjusting work station settings to address new printer(s)
10. Checking cable connections and advising management of any necessary repairs

One or more of of these steps may require purchase of anti-virus software.
One or more of these steps may require purchase of software or parts to effect updates or repairs.

Problem Alerts

The Network Administrative Plan is designed to provide your company with a consistent monthly visit to address normal computer server administrative issues.

If problems with your network, stations, printers, back-up etc. are discovered, you are alerted to these problems, possible causes and remedies. Some problems may require additional visits outside the normal monthly administrative visits. An "estimate " of time, materials and labor can be produced for your approval prior to any additional work being performed to remedy the problem(s).

Choice of Plans

There are two Computer Network Administrative service plans to choose from, 1 year and 6 month. Investments quoted are per server, per site. Discounts are available on multiple servers. 25% discount on additional servers per site.

Add $300 annually or $35 monthly if located greater than 10 miles from Electrosonics, Fraser, Michigan.
A relationship to distance price plan is in development for more than 10 miles.

Billing of Plan

Plans can be pre-paid or billed monthly at time of service. Services performed in excess of maximum hours per month are billed at qualified discounted rates. Consulting time beyond the time allocated in the CNA plan will be billed on a monthly basis at the plan rate.

Exclusions -- Items billed separately from Network Administrative Tasks

A clear distinction is made between Network Administration and hardware / software repair, installation services and training. The primary purpose of Electrosonics Network Administrative Plan is to provide your management with consistent and reliable operating network and feedback as to the health of your computer network. The 10-point checklist for Network Administration that we perform each visit will consume the time allotted for under the plan.

If we determine through our Administrative analysis that problems exist. Your management is informed of the problem(s) prior to any work proceeding. As there is a separate billing for service work, permission to proceed on repairs would need to be obtained from your management.

A separate billing will occur for the time and materials to perform hardware repairs and replacement, data restoration, moves & changes, computer hardware / software troubleshooting, data manipulation, and training.
